The Olive English Curriculum
The Olive English curriculum is based on the curriculum used in Californian Elementary schools. We use this curriculum as it will fast track your child’s English skills to be like American English native speakers.
Our goal is to teach English in a way that invigorates critical thinking and creative problem solving.
Our lessons add the fun back into learning English. The lesson starts with a verbal discussion of the overall theme of the lesson and poses an essential question to the students. Throughout the lesson the kids will take part in vocabulary and grammar exercises that enrich them with the language to discuss the theme of the lesson.
We know that kids learn best when they feel involved in a lesson, this is why our lesson structure involves more verbal discussions as opposed to answering the same stale questions on paper.
